Just be aware, that this game suppose to be casual, you really can't find everything in the rules (you may try asking devs in their Discord server).Welcome to Monster Hunter Meta! This is a place to discuss in-depth strategy for the Monster Hunter franchise, including but not limited to weapon strategy, gear builds, farming and much more. Not sure if you can find very specific rule to determine if Shock Bot is an actual attack modifier, or some special case, because it really does not matter, Artificer does not deal Pure or Collateral damage and companions can't be stopped, so for all intents and purposes it works as others attack modifiers.Īnd as for Nano bot, thats a very special case, but there are some details in FAQ to explain how it works, most important note, that it does work as modifier only if it was triggered by offensive ability like Overclock (meaning it adds damage to another source of damage). If you are talking about Shock Bot, then yeah, it does modify an attack. There are lots of different modifiers, so if you have problems understanding some of them, you can ask specifics. ( all damage is calculated at the end of the phase) as most things in Dice throne, there is no specific order when you must use attack modifiers, so you can wait for your opponent to defend (if your attack is defendable) and then use attack modifier to increase your attack damage.Usually modifiers only increase damage numbers and does not change type of damage (unless specified) your attack gains effects described for that modifier, so if you attack by dealing 6 undefendable damage and use attack modifier card that increases your damage by 3, that means in total you deal 9 undefendable damage.once you choose your ability, if that ability does results in an attack (deals at least 1 dmg and can be modified - meaning its not pure or collateral), you can play your attack modifier (there could be additional requirements).during your roll phase you roll your three (or less) rolls to determine what kind of ability you want to do (as usual in offensive phase). ![]() Some cards require you to roll dies to determine its effect, some just work as described (increases damage or inflicts status effect). ![]() Attack modifiers are cards and tokens that improve your attack. ![]()
